Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Kelmet offers auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Please read these terms carefully before subscribing.

Regardless of your subscription tier, all users receive:
- 20 free IA Credits upon account creation
- These credits allow you to test AI-powered features
- Credits are cumulative and never expire (as long as your account is active)
- No payment or email verification required for free credits
How Free Credits Work:
- Free tier users: 20 credits to test AI Bonus exercises
- Essential subscribers: 20 initial credits + 500 monthly credits = 520 credits in first month
- Boost subscribers: 20 initial credits + 1,500 monthly credits = 1,520 credits in first month

2. Payment and Billing
2.1 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
- Kelmet does NOT store your payment information
- Free credits require no payment
2.2 Email Verification Requirement
For Email Sign-Up Users:
Before making a purchase (subscription or credit pack), you must verify your email address. This protects your account and ensures you receive purchase confirmations.
Google/Apple Sign-In users: Your email is already verified - you can purchase immediately.
2.3 Initial Charge
- Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase
- For free trials (if applicable), payment is charged when the trial ends
3. Automatic Renewal
3.1 How It Works
Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
3.2 Renewal Charge
- Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period
- The renewal price will be the same as the original subscription price (unless you've been notified of a price change)
4. Managing Your Subscription
4.1 View and Manage
To manage or cancel your subscription:
On iPhone/iPad:
- Open Settings
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Kelmet
- Choose your desired option (Cancel, Change tier, etc.)
4.2 Cancellation
⚠️ Important:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You will retain access to subscription features until the end of the paid period
- No refunds for partial months or unused time
- Your initial 20 free credits remain available after cancellation
5. IA Credits and Subscriptions
5.1 Monthly Credits
- Essential: 500 credits added on each renewal
- Boost: 1,500 credits added on each renewal
- Credits are added to your account, not replaced
- Your initial 20 free credits are never removed
5.2 Accumulation
Monthly subscription credits accumulate with free credits and previously purchased credits.
Example: Free user with 15 free credits remaining + subscribes to Essential = 515 credits total (15 + 500)
5.3 Credit Expiration
While Subscribed:
- IA Credits do NOT expire
- All credits (free + monthly + purchased) remain valid
After Cancellation:
- Initial 20 free credits remain valid indefinitely
- Purchased credits remain valid indefinitely
- Monthly subscription credits remain valid for 90 days
6. Refund Policy
6.1 Apple's Refund Process
All refund requests must be submitted to Apple, not to Kelmet.
To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find the Kelmet subscription charge
- Click "Report a Problem"
- Select "Request a Refund"
6.2 Our Refund Policy
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
- No refunds for unused IA Credits
- No refunds if you cancel mid-cycle
- Free credits involve no payment, so no refund applies
