Methodology
Build your French from A0 through B1 with clear lessons and varied exercises. Understand the language, practise speaking and develop the writing skills you need for everyday life in France.
Learn how French works with detailed explanations and clear examples. Each grammar point is introduced progressively, then reinforced through exercises that help you use it in everyday situations.

Discover Kelmet’s exclusive conjugation method. Construct French verb forms step by step to understand how they are built. Practise choosing the right components, then use the verbs you learn in meaningful sentences.

Record your voice and receive detailed feedback from an advanced speech assessment tool. Identify pronunciation errors and get guidance to help you improve. Listen, repeat and build confidence speaking French.

Develop your listening skills through dictation and reinforce what you learn by writing it down. Practise spelling and become more comfortable with the written French used in everyday messages, forms and administrative documents.
Choose the mode that suits your needs and the way you want to practise today.
Type what you hear using the keyboard. Focus on listening, spelling and remembering the words.
Write directly on your screen to practise forming letters and joining them in cursive.
Enjoy the comfort of pen and paper. Take a photo of your handwritten answer for analysis in Kelmet.

New to cursive writing? Use Kelmet’s optional augmented-reality guide to practise joining letters. Through your phone’s camera view, align a cursive text model with your notebook page and follow the guide on screen as you write on paper.

Learning French is part of building a life in France: speaking with colleagues, understanding a message from school, making an appointment or explaining what you need. Kelmet’s structured course covers A0, A1, A2 and B1, including the full B1 stage.
Develop your listening, reading, speaking and writing skills alongside grammar and conjugation. Work towards the language skills assessed by recognised French tests and diplomas, such as the TCF, TEF or DELF, while practising French for everyday life.
